Materials: Acrylic water-soluble screenprint inks on 100% silk charmeuse fabric. 

Transparency begins where light refuses to stay on the surface. It passes through, carrying color with it, bending and layering until what is seen becomes something more than what is there. Bands of yellow stretch into warmth, while greens deepen and blues cool, each shifting as light moves across them.

The forms appear simple—repeated, contained—yet they do not remain fixed. Where one layer overlaps another, a new color emerges, not painted but perceived. Light becomes an act of transformation, creating tones that exist only in the moment of seeing.

Edges soften, boundaries blur, and the eye begins to question what is solid and what is passing through. Transparency is not emptiness—it is interaction. It is the space where light negotiates with color, where visibility becomes fluid.

In this quiet exchange, perception becomes alive. What seems clear is constantly changing, and what is seen is never final—only a fleeting, luminous agreement between light and the eye.
